As we are into the beginning of December, the winter break in Europe comes ever closer. Although, there is still plenty of matches to come in the next few weeks. One of the biggest is this weekend as Inter travel to Rome as they hope to maintain their title push.
The last six meetings between these two sides have been incredibly equal, there have been two wins for each of them and two draws. Inter actually won this fixture last season, securing a 3-1 victory in Rome as they came from behind with just over 20 minutes left. Both teams have scored in each of the last five fixtures between the two with over 2.5 goals coming in three of those.
A win for Roma can take them into 5th but they are certainly up against a strong side. They haven’t been very lucky with injuries recently and could be missing up to six players including Daniele De Rossi, Edin Dzeko and El Shaarawy who all face late fitness tests. Latest matches: AS Roma

If Napoli fail to win then Inter can go into 2nd which would make them Juventus’ main title challengers. They are expected to be without Sime Vrsaljko and Radja Nainggolan for the big clash. Latest matches: Inter Milan

It’s a really tough game to call with two of Italian football’s biggest sides facing off. As has happened in the last five meetings, both teams should score and it might be worth backing Inter to win who are in fantastic form as opposed to Roma who have struggled of late.
