There’s a break from the regular league schedule for some of Spain’s top teams as the Copa del Rey last 16 second legs draw to a close on Thursday after several ties on Wednesday. One of those sees Barcelona hosting Levante as they look to overturn the 2-1 deficit from the first leg.
Levante will actually take some confidence from their recent meetings with Barcelona as they have won two of the last four in all competitions. Although, in their last five visits to the Camp Nou, they have conceded a staggering 24 goals! There have been over 2.5 goals in nine of the last 10 meetings and Barcelona have scored three or more goals in eight of those.
It’s imperative that Barcelona don’t suffer a shock defeat in the Copa del Rey as they hunt as many trophies as possible this season. They are without Samuel Umtiti and Rafinha for the clash. Latest matches: FC Barcelona

It will be a huge occasion if Levante are to dethrone the kings of the Copa del Rey. Chema and Armando Sadiku miss out as they are both nursing injuries. Latest matches: Levante UD

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Barcelona should cruise into the quarter-final in spite of the one-goal deficit and the recent meetings between the sides backs that up. Therefore, Barca to score 3+ goals and qualify for the next round should comfortably come in on Thursday night.
