The Barcelona vs Valencia match will be played on Sunday, March 19, at the Camp Nou stadium, Barcelona. Barcelona is currently 2nd on the table with 60 points, while Valencia is 13th with 30 points at the moment.

  • Barcelona recorded 5 straight victories, including the fantastic 6-1 win over PSG in Champions League, but last weekend they were defeated in La Coruna against Deportivo by 2-1.
  • Valencia is unpredictable in the last couple of weeks - they recorded 2 victories, 2 defeats and one draw in Primera. They beat Real Madrid, but afterward, they were beaten against Alaves, and nobody knows how they'll play in the upcoming match.

In their previous 10 meetings, Barcelona recorded 5 victories, Valencia won 2 games, while 3 games were ended in a draw. It is interesting that both of those wins Valencia recorded on Camp Nou. Also, in 5 out of those 10 matches, we saw under 2.5 goals, which isn't accustomed to Barca's games.

After losing 4-0 in Paris, almost nobody believed that Barcelona could overturn that match. However, they defeated PSG by 6-1 at home and eliminated them from Champions League. The euphoria didn't last for long - the players were completely worn out after that game, and they lost the match against Deportivo in La Coruna by 2-1. Real Madrid now has 2 points advantage and the game in hand - the title race is maybe over for Barcelona. However, they have to try to win every match until the end to win the third Spanish championship title in a row.

Valencia had high aspirations before the beginning of the season, but their performance level was dreadful. They were even in the battle against the relegation for quite some time, but it seems they will finish the season in the middle of the table. They don't have competitive ambitions, but Barcelona team itself should be a huge motive.

Barcelona must win the upcoming match. Valencia will defend as much as they can and rely on counter attacks.
