Inter Milan

The games are beginning to speed up ahead of the busy festive period in Serie A. Matchday 15 begins on Friday evening as Inter make the trip to Turin to face runaway leaders Juventus.
Inter won’t be looking favourably at their recent record with Juventus as they have only won one of their last 11 meetings in the league, losing six of those. The last fixture between the two sides ended 3-2 to Juve back in April thanks to two goals in the last five minutes. Including that match, there have been just two of the last six that have produced over 2.5 goals, those two also being the only two where both teams scored.
Juventus’ lead at the Serie A summit could be extended to 11 points with a win on Friday night but they are without Andrea Barzagli and Alex Sandro in the defence. Sami Khedira and Emre Can have both returned to training so could bolster the midfield.

With a superior goal difference, Inter can overtake Napoli in 2nd with three points and their only injury worries concern Dalbert and Sime Vrsaljko who aren’t expected to feature. Radja Nainggolan is back in training and would provide a huge boost if he starts. Latest matches: Inter Milan

Despite Juventus’ strong form, it is never straightforward picking a winner when these two sides meet. With home advantage, Juventus are of course favourites to win this clash but Inter’s wealth of attacking options means they are likely to score. Both teams should score on Friday night and it could be worth backing that selection as well as Juventus to win.
