The Serie A season is in full swing now and with each team already playing four games, we are starting to find out the strongest and weakest sides. Two of the strongest teams meet in matchweek five as league-leaders, Napoli make the trip to Lazio as they look to retain their position at the top of the table. Both sides are unbeaten so far but Lazio haven’t picked up full points due to one draw whereas their upcoming opponents are yet to have slipped up with a maximum of 12 points.
Lazio haven’t had the best luck against Napoli in recent years with just two wins in the last ten league games. This fixture has been full of goals in the last few years and there have been more than 4.5 match goals in two of the last five meetings.
If they want to stay in touch with the top teams at this early stage, it is important that Lazio don’t lose this match. They are still without one of last season’s star performers, Felipe Anderson while Wallace and Nani are also not ready to be brought back into the squad. Latest matches: Lazio Roma

Although they are currently top of the league, Juventus could still leapfrog them for the top spot so it’s important that Napoli win convincingly. They have a fully fit and available squad so they have the best possible chance of winning the match.

Due to a brilliant run of early season form, Napoli are the favourites to win this match but Lazio can’t be underestimated as they are still yet to lose a league game. The match could either way and may even end as a draw between two very strong Italian teams but it is the visitors’ who take the advantage into the fifth game of the campaign, let’s see whether they use it or not.
