FREIBURG NEWS

Most of the teams in Germany haven't played many friendly matches during the winter break. Freiburg played five, against solid opponents. However, they defeated only Vaduz, PSV and Club Brugge recorded easy victories against them, while the matches against Sparta Prague and Karlsruher ended as a draw. Their primary goal is to avoid the relegation battle and they will probably focus on the next home match they'll play, against Hertha on January 29. All important first team players will be ready for the forthcoming match.

BAYERN MUNICH NEWS

Bayern Munich put Leipzig on their place in their previous match in Bundesliga. They are in a great form and their primary goal is to extend their lead in Bundesliga and focus on Champions League. They have some problems with injured players. Jerome Boateng and Kingsley Coman aren't healthy yet, while Thiago Alcantara sustained a thigh injury on training and he is doubtful for the forthcoming match.

SUMMING UP!

Everything except a routine victory for Bayern would be a surprise. Since they kept a clean sheet in the last three Bundesliga games, there is a big possibility they will win without conceding a goal against Freiburg.
