Football across Europe is in full swing and one of the leagues that’s always in the spotlight is La Liga. With several sides needing to play their sixth games of the season, there are four fixtures on Wednesday night and one of those sees Celta Vigo travel to an out-of-sorts Valencia.
Valencia and Celta Vigo tend to be quite even in their recent league meetings. In the last five, both sides have won two apiece and the most recent of the games ended as a 1-1 draw back in April. Valencia have actually won both of their last two matches with Celta at the Mestalla which will give them plenty of confidence going into the match. Both teams have scored in all four of the last four matches between them while there have been more than two goals in three of those.
The hosts are desperately in need of a win on Wednesday and they could take themselves inside the top half if they manage to secure all three points. Parejo is suspended for the game which might prove costly but Ezequiel Garay and Geoffrey Kondogbia have returned to training which is a boost. Latest matches: Valencia CF

Celta will want to keep their good start going but they are coming up against a top Spanish side, even if Valencia are out of form. With no injuries, the visitors go into the match confident that they can move into the top four. Latest matches: Celta de Vigo

It’s been a season to forget for Valencia so far but they are still slight favourites to take all three points at the Mestalla tomorrow night. Celta Vigo will be hopeful they can win and I certainly expect them to score but Valencia should have a point to prove. A worthwhile bet looks like backing both teams to score on Wednesday night.
