West Ham United
vs
Stoke City
Kick-off

On a Premier League weekend where Manchester City have been confirmed as champions, it will be wrapped up by Stoke’s trip to the London Stadium on Monday night. It’s a game that will have big implications at the bottom end of the table as Stoke are in the relegation zone in 19th and West Ham aren’t far from safe in 15th.
Meetings between Stoke and West Ham have been very close in the last few years. Both sides have won once in the last five with three draws making up the rest, it was West Ham who took Stoke apart earlier in the season at the bet365 Stadium as they went back to London with a 3-0 victory. It’s not a match that historically produces goals, over 2.5 have been scored in just two of the last six meetings.
Three points for the hosts would take them into 12th and go a long way to ensuring they are not relegated. Manuel Lanzini and Aaron Cresswell might return to the side while Andy Carroll will also have a late fitness test. Latest matches: West Ham United

Even a win for Stoke wouldn’t take them out of the bottom three but it would pull them closer to safety. Eric Choupo-Moting and Konstatinos Stafylidis are both injured and probably won’t feature for the rest of the season. Latest matches: Stoke City

Despite a long list of injuries, this is West Ham’s match to lose in front of their own fans. Stoke need a result desperately but as they have shown repeatedly over the course of the season, they will be too easy to break down, especially for a strong Hammers attacking line.
